As many of us have long suspected, Bridgerton Season 3 will center on Penelope Featherington (played by Nicola Coughlan) as she decides to take a husband – preferably one who will give her enough independence to continue her double life as Lady Whistledown.

Having finally given up on her longtime crush on Colin Bridgerton (played by Luke Newton) following his harsh talk last season, Penelope now cares only about getting married and being away from her mother and sisters!

However, Penelope’s attempts in the marriage market quickly fail, given her lack of self-confidence. … Enter Colin (filled with a new look and a serious sense of arrogance) eager to win back Penelope’s friendship. He therefore offers to guide her in the ways of trust and to help her find a husband this season.

I guess what he wasn’t counting on was the lessons working a little too well, and soon Colin will have to wonder if his feelings for Penelope are really friendly.

Complicating matters for Penelope is her breakup with Eloise (played by Claudia Jessie), who has found a new friend in a very unlikely place, and the fact that her growing presence in the ton makes it much harder to keep her. alter Lady Whistledown me a secret.

From the trailer, it looks like all of our Bridgerton the favorites are back for another ~season~, but there are also some new faces to watch!

Daniel Francis enters the fray as Marcus Anderson, a charismatic presence who lights up any room he walks into, drawing the attention of some ton matriarchs and the ire of others.
