Footage of the incident quickly ignited social media, but was later removed from video-sharing platform TikTok.

Shortened clips of the scuffle continued to circulate on Twitter and Facebook and show how the mayhem left rubbish and clothes strewn on the ground as frightened families tried to protect their children from the chaos.

Orange County Sheriffs, Reedy Creek Fire Department and paramedics were all called to the scene soon after to help de-escalate the situation and tend to injuries.

Incidents of mass violence at Disney parks have increased dramatically since the COVID-19 pandemic, with the Florida resort reporting more than half a dozen reports this year alone.
