Another week, another primetime game for the Buffalo Bills. The Super Bowl favorites are looking for another dominating performance on the big stage.
Buffalo hosts the Tennessee Titans at Highmark Stadium at 7:15 p.m. on ESPN. It’s been 10 days since Buffalo defeated the defending Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams.
Buffalo will try to keep pace with their AFC East colleagues as the Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots and New York Jets all won Week 2 games on Sunday.

Final: Buffalo Bills 41, Tennessee Titans 7
First, the Bills dismantled last year’s Super Bowl winner. Now they have demolished the AFC’s No.1 seed from last season. Buffalo scored the final 34 points after the game was tied at 7 in the first quarter. The Bills dominated all three phases and had 414 yards to the Titans’ 187. Josh Allen completed 26 of 38 passes for four touchdowns. Stefon Diggs had 12 catches for 148 yards and two touchdowns. The Bills intercepted Ryan Tannehill twice, including a pick six from linebacker Matt Milano.
Bills defense recovers fumble – 10:44 4th quarter
The Bills’ defense forced another turnover. Malik Willis lost the ball on a run and it was picked up by Boogie Basham.
Case Keenum enters quarterback position for Bills – : 14 3rd quarter
Buffalo put their backups on offense. Case Keenum’s first action of the season ended in a three-and-out.
The Titans wave the white flag at the end of the third quarter
Rookie quarterback Malik Willis replaced Ryan Tannehill for the Titans. Derrick Henry has his gloves on the sidelines.
Matt Milano picks six to give Bills a 41-7 lead – 3:49 3rd Quarter
Make only 34 unanswered points for Bills. Ryan Tannehill threw his second pick in as many possessions and this time it resulted in a touchdown. Linebacker Matt Milano walked past a pass down the middle and returned it 43 yards for a touchdown.
Josh Allen throws a laser at Stefon Diggs for their third TD – Bills 34, Titans 7
Stefon Diggs against the Titans cornerback is not far behind. Josh Allen fired a 14-yard touchdown pass to Diggs for their third TD connection of the game. Allen scored his 15th career 300-yard game.
Ryan Tannehill throws an interception to Jordan Poyer – 6:46 3rd Quarter
The Bills defense is starting to make big plays. Jordan Poyer snagged a pass from Ryan Tannehill after being knocked down multiple times. Poyer dove for the pick at the Buffalo 49-yard line.
Tyler Bass scores a field goal from 37 yards – Bills 27, Titans 7
Buffalo only managed a yard after the missed punt, but extended its lead on Tyler Bass’ field goal.
Bills kicked for the first time this year and recovered fumbles – 8:22 3rd Quarter
Sam Martin exists. The Buffalo Bills punter saw his first action of the season and it resulted in a turnover for the Titans. Martin’s end-to-end punt came off the shoulder pad of rookie Kyle Philips. Tyrel Dodson jumped on the fumble near the sideline at Tennessee’s 20-yard line.
Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs are unstoppable, connect on second TD – Bills 24, Titans 7
The Bills have scored 17 straight points. Josh Allen converted a third-and-9 with a 16-yard pass to Jamison Crowder before Stefon Diggs’ show started. Diggs shoved his way in for 9- and 8-yard catches before catching a 46-yard touchdown in stride. Diggs had 10 catches for 128 yards and two touchdowns.
Dane Jackson put on a stretcher and an ambulance with a head injury – : 45 2nd quarter
Dane Jackson was injured and ejected from the field. Jackson was injured while tackling Treylon Burks after a 12-yard gain in the last minute of the half. His Bills teammate Tremaine Edmunds came flying in to help with the tackle and dropped a shoulder into Jackson’s helmet. Jackson was wrapping Burks up and lying on his stomach when his head snapped. He remained lying on his back before medical personnel arrived. An ambulance and a stretcher came to the field for Jackson.
The Bills take Jackson to Erie County Medical Center for a CT scan and x-rays. He has full movement in his arms and legs.
Allen throws TD to Stefon Diggs on fourth down – Bills 17, Titans 7
Buffalo hadn’t been good at short distance. Until touched. Josh Allen dodged the pressure after play action and rolled left before returning it to his right for Stefon Diggs for a 4-yard touchdown with 1:00 left in the second quarter.
Josh Allen hits Jake Kumerow on a deep shot – 3:18 2nd Quarter
Buffalo’s possession started with a 5-yard loss by Devin Singletary before Josh Allen took over. Allen connected with Dawson Knox in the middle from 16 yards, then went deep for Jake Kumerow on the left sideline from 40 yards. Stefon Diggs made consecutive 15- and 9-yard catchers to get to the Titans 4-yard line on the two-minute warning.
Bud Dupree is doubtful to return with a hip injury.
Derrick Henry blasted by Von Miller – 5:43 2nd Quarter
Derrick Henry got possession with 12 yards on six carries. It didn’t get better for him. Henry picked up 4 yards on first down, then was dropped in the backfield for a 4-yard loss by Von Miller. Rookie running back Hassan Haskins caught a short scoreless pass on third down and the Titans made three outs.
Three of Henry’s eight litters ended in negative yardage.
Tyler Bass throws a 49-yard field goal – Bills 10, Titans 7
Buffalo had eight plays and 46 yards and took the lead with a field goal. Josh Allen opened up possession with a 28-yard strike down the middle to Isaiah McKenzie. Two Titans penalties gave the Bills a first down at the Titans 35-yard line. It appeared the Titans jumped to fourth-and-one, but Buffalo’s Greg Van Roten, who plays center Mitch Morse, was called for a false start for not being in the neutral zone. That forced Tyler Bass’ 49-yard field goal attempt.
Tennessee punt after penalty interrupts promising practice – 9:54 2nd quarter
Ryan Tannehill converted a third-and-one with a 2-yard run. Linebacker Tremaine Edmunds stayed intact in the middle to sack Tannehill for an 8-yard loss, but three plays later hit Treylon Burks for a 16-yard gain at third-and-long. A 17-yard screen pass to Robert Woods was nullified by a face mask penalty on center Ben Jones and it stopped Tennessee’s momentum. The Titans completed two short passes before Ryan Stonehouse punted in fourth-and-22. Jamison Crowder returned the punt 10 yards to the Bills’ 18.
The Bills turn on the lows – 1:18 1st Quarter
Buffalo’s offense still hasn’t started this year, but it has been stopped. The Bills went for it fourth and first of the Titans’ 31. A safety blitz blocked Josh Allen, who tried to throw the ball while wrapped and was nearly intercepted.
Derrick Henry powers out for a touchdown on fourth down – Bills 7, Titans 7
Ryan Tannehill opened up Tennessee’s first possession with a 14-yard pass to rookie Treylon Burks. The Titans notched another first down on a hard-hitting passer penalty on defensive end Greg Rousseau. Tannehill hit tight end Austin Hooper for 10 yards to put the TItans in the red zone. Nick Westbrook-Ikhine caught a 13-yard pass on third-and-14 to go fourth from the 2-yard line. Derrick Henry dropped his shoulder for the touchdown.
Reggie Gilliam breaks tackle and scores on Buffalo’s first possession – Bills 7, Titans 0
Buffalo’s prolific offense got the ball first. Josh Allen started with a short completion to Stefon Diggs, then Devin Singletary burst through the middle for a 16-yard gain. Bills center Mitch Morse was injured on the fourth play from scrimmage but was able to get away on his own. Josh Allen picked up 10 yards and an elusive scramble that he got past a defender on third-and-9. Allen connected to Jake Kumerow on third-and-8 for 11 yards. Buffalo converted another third with a 12-yard reception by Dawson Knox. Reggie Gilliam put the Bills on the board. Josh Allen found Gilliam for a short completion and the little-used fullback slipped away from a tackle, then sprinted to the left sideline for a touchdown. Josh Allen made passes to five different receivers on the drive.
